About Vital Spirit

About the Practitioner: Christine Snyder

imageChristine Snyder earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural and Social Anthropology at Stanford University.  She went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Metaphysics at the American Institute of Holistic Theology, and then, a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Christine's training focused on Chinese-style acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui na (or Chinese massage), and Chinese nutrition. Her studies in Metaphysics also gave her an overview of Western vitamins and supplements.

After the birth of her children, Christine became even more passionate about applying Chinese medicine for OB GYN conditions. She treats conditions related to menstruation and menopause, infertility, preparing for IVF and IVI, and conditions related to pregnancy and post-partum.

Christine's practice includes pediatric acupuncture and using the therapeutic techniques of Chinese medicine for those with moderate to severe disabilities.

Her central purpose with her practice is to provide gentleness and compassion through each treatment and help guide her patients to better health.

Under the care of Christine Snyder and acupuncture, I was able to be healed of my Irritable Bowel Syndrome that had been flaring up for a couple of months. After the first treatment, I was able to see good results, but after three treatments and the use of some herbs she recommended, the IBS was completely gone! Christine took my complete health into consideration. I was not rushed and each visit was a blessing to me. I have told many people about acupuncture as a form of healing and hope that more people will seek help with their health issues.
